NewJeans Tracks

This personal project explores typography through the song titles of NewJeans’ discography, inspired by the group’s playful and retro-inspired visual identity. Drawing from their existing logo and typographic style,

I experimented with recreating a similar aesthetic using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The project includes both black-and-white and coloured versions, allowing me to explore different visual treatments and design techniques across the two software platforms.

The left image is the inspiration from the existing logos made by NewJeans’ designers. The right image is my sketches of the different types for the song titles.

I experimented with different styles of types that represented the vibes of the track. For the coloured version, I explored creating chrome text and Y2K styles while playing with the text effects in Photoshop.
